Maintenance Technician

Primary Responsibilities

* Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on manufacturing machinery and equipment.

* Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

* Ensure all work complies with NOV safety standards and operational procedures.

* Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability and uptime.

* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.

Job Duties

* Use diagnostic tools such as digital multimeters, megohmmeters, and oscilloscopes to perform electrical tests and repairs.

* Apply knowledge of electronics, mechanics, and PLC automation to resolve issues efficiently.

* Work closely with technicians, operators, and supervisors to minimize downtime.

* Prioritize and manage maintenance tasks in a dynamic manufacturing setting.

* Document repair activities, root causes, and corrective actions for continuous improvement.

Education and Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or associate degree in a related field preferred.

* Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or military environment preferred.

* Familiarity with PLC automation and ladder logic preferred.

* Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical prints.

* Skilled in safe and effective use of test instruments, hand tools, and power tools.

* Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to safety.
