• Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on motors, pneumatics, conveyor systems, and production machines; follow diagrams, operations manuals, manufacturer’s instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshoot malfunctions.
• Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation, listening for problems, using precision measuring and testing instruments; make repairs as needed.
• Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges.
• Control downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitor compliance.
• Fabricate repair parts using machine‑shop instrumentation and equipment.
• Provide mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests.
• Prepare mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
• Maintain continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Able to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot 110 VAC, 240/480 VAC 3‑phase.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

• Must be able to work various shifts, including weekends.
• Must have basic math and communication skills and the knowledge to accomplish required paperwork, read technical manuals, instructions, safety and warning signs, etc.
• Must have knowledge and ability to safely and proficiently use a variety of hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment.
• Should be skilled at operating welding/brazing equipment, lathes, milling machines and other shop equipment.
• Must have the ability to routinely and frequently stoop, bend, reach, climb ladders/scaffolds, and work in tight, cramped spaces.
• Must have good hand‑eye coordination and possess motor skills enabling mobility and quick reflexes, as well as dexterity in ceiling‑height areas.
• Must have visual/hearing ability sufficient to recognize or detect equipment malfunctions and warning devices/signs.
