JobOverview
The Associate Health LPN provides services for assigned Bon Secours Mercy Health (BSMH) associates according to policies and procedures, professional standards, federal regulations and CDC recommendations, under the direction of an RN. Services include but are not limited to pre‑employment chart review, associate immunization program and respiratory protection program. The Associate Health LPN works closely in collaboration and referral with RN lead to ensure associate health and safety.
Maintains current knowledge of associate health policies, regulations, recommendations and accreditation standards applicable to BSMH facilities and operates in accordance with established federal, state and HR‑related employment laws and regulations.
Follows Human Resources strategic and operational plan, philosophy, mission and values and in accordance with OSHA & other healthcare regulatory accreditation safety compliance standards.
Provides comprehensive administrative, clerical and technical support to the BSMH Associate Health Team.
Performs review of new hire records, maintaining them in a confidential manner. Utilizes associate health information system to record and retrieve associate health data and to prepare communication of any outstanding requirements.
Collaborates with Associate Health Team to prevent the spread of communicable disease between patients and staff by maintaining Associate Health files in an organized and confidential manner and generating and preparing Associate Health related data / statistical reports.
Coordinates testing and immunization programs to include Hepatitis B, influenza, COVID, and respirator fit testing.
Provides office administrative support and inventory / ordering of medical and clerical supplies.
Receives and triages associate phone calls and emails.
Ensures EMR is updated to reflect patient care as appropriate and imports associate health related data into the Associate Health database.
Serves as a member of the well‑being committee and communicates programs designed to promote health and safety for associates.
Support and assist in associate work‑related injuries.

Licensed Practical Nurse in the state practicing - Minimum Years And Type Of Experience
Required:
A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as an LPN - Minimum Years And Type Of Experience Preferred: 2 years related occupational health/associate health nursing experience
