Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. Base salary is one component of our Total Rewards package, which includes wellness programs to support team members’ financial, physical, and mental well-being. Specific benefits, such as day-one medical coverage, 401(k) matching, and annual performance bonus, may vary by position. Paid time off is earned according to local policy and increases with length of employment.

• Assists in hiring and training, and is responsible for motivating, evaluating, and supervising staff on assigned shift to ensure employees receive adequate guidance and resources to accomplish established objectives.
• Provides guidance and daily supervision to staff in the department. Supports and administers operational goals and monitors achievements of performance and profit objectives.
• Adheres to scheduling and coordinates with manager any scheduling concerns, with attention to guest satisfaction.
• Produces menu items as listed in each restaurant. Follows all prep lists and ensures kitchens are stocked and ready for service.
• Supports compliance with departmental budgets.
• Demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs; ensures customer service standards are followed by all team members and addresses issues as they arise.
• Assists with cost control methods and procedures by monitoring pars and inventory in each restaurant.
• Assists Executive Chef with administrative duties, such as tracking/maintenance of attendance records.
• Assists with maintaining established quality assurance procedures to ensure acceptable health department and customer service standards.
• Ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements within area of responsibility and reports potential issues to management.
• Assists in managing overall Food & Beverage operations to create a differentiated service experience and ensure optimum performance of all.
• Develops recipes, updates menu items, and ensures current quality recipe configurations are met.
• Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.
• Assists Deli Sous Chef, as needed.

• Must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Access, Word, Outlook).
• Manages work procedures and expedites workflow.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
• Ability to interact with guests, staff, and colleagues and resolve problems in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
• Other duties, as needed.

• Responsible for staff development and training programs.
• Responsible for rewards and recognition programs to maximize employee engagement.
• Evaluates team members within the department and delivers constructive feedback.
• Determines staffing recommendations (including interviewing and hiring) and scheduling to meet business needs.
• Determines work procedures and expedites workflow.
• Responsible for employee performance management (disciplining, coaching, counseling).
