Five Below is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate for the Liberty Plaza location in Youngstown, OH 44505. This role supports a fast-paced retail environment focused on creating a WOW customer experience and driving store goals.

• Greet and assist customers promptly:
  Approach and acknowledge customers immediately, provide assistance, and handle multiple customers efficiently.
• Understand and meet customer needs:
  Share product knowledge, answer questions, direct customers to merchandise, offer recommendations, and engage in suggestive selling.
• Promote store events and promotions:
  Inform customers about current events and promotions to enhance their shopping experience and drive sales.
• Resolve customer concerns:
  Address issues and use product knowledge to offer alternatives, aiming to convert returns into exchanges when possible.
• Communicate needs to management:
  Inform management about merchandise restocking, service requirements, and customer feedback in a timely manner.
• Support team and company goals:
  Collaborate with the team to achieve store objectives and maintain a positive work environment.

• At least 16 years old
• Available to work a flexible schedule
• Comfortable with or willing to learn technology (cash registers, handheld devices, etc.)
• Good communicator with the ability to engage with customers
• Able to handle customer interactions courteously and professionally
• Basic information-gathering skills to solve problems
• Ability to learn procedural knowledge through on-the-job training

• Frequently operate cash register
• Move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs and handle items up to 5-10 feet high
• Ascend/descend ladders to retrieve and stock merchandise
• Position self to kneel, bend, twist, and stoop in stock room and on sales floor
• Communicate with customers and team members in person and by telephone
• Move across the sales floor to assist customers and stock areas
• Work a flexible schedule including day, evening, weekends, and possibly overnight shifts and travel
• Identify and follow email and print instructions regarding merchandise layouts, schedules, and SOPs
• Remain stationary for up to 80% of the time
