Fyda Freightliner is looking for Service Technician in Youngstown, Ohio.

Diesel Technician responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair all components of tractors and trailers
• Combine personal experience with broad knowledge of Electronic Control Module diagnostic programming.
• Repair of all major power and drive train components
• Preventative maintenance inspections and services
• Repair, align and adjust suspension systems
• Test and repair entire truck chassis electrical system
• Disassemble and rebuild diesel engines
• Perform road tests if employee has a CDL
• Positive attitude, courteous and professional
• Participate in care and upkeep of shop, equipment, and tools
• Record all work and labor on a computer

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with employees and foremen.
• Complete knowledge of in house business systems and along with other partner systems.
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and maintain composure.
• Ability to work independently and to meet deadlines.
• Ability to lift 150 pounds
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test
• Must have a clean MVR

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
