• Operate horizontal directional drill locator equipment in accordance with company and industry standards.
• Plan horizontal directional drill bore path for installation of conduit, duct, cable.
• Observe obstacles that may include unlocated or private utilities.
• Have understanding of various ground conditions: rock, clay, sand, cobble, etc.
• Perform routine labor (potholing, equipment setup, conduit, duct, cable placement, set pedestals) as required.
• Assure all located utilities that are in the construction path have been potholed.
• Document and record the finished product.
• Ensure cleanliness of job sites.
• Work efficiently and complete work in a timely manner.
• Ensure accountability of all tools and materials.

• Ability to work efficiently, independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Must be able to bend, stand, sit, crawl, climb, and lift throughout each day.
• Ability to communicate professionally with co-workers, homeowners, and customers.
• Must be reliable, responsible, and dependable work attendance.
• Must be willing to travel.
• Must have valid driver's license - Class A CDL preferred.
• Must be able to pass drug and background screening.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
