The JMeals Delivery Associate will contribute to the vision, mission and values of the Youngstown Area Jewish Federation by packing, loading, and delivering frozen meals to JMeals consumers with standards of excellence.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Package frozen meals for distribution, paying close attention to ensure that correct numbers and dietary requirements are followed

Load, transport, and deliver meals to consumers in a safe, timely manner

Make contact with consumers and ensure their safety, health and welfare according to ODA and other state guidelines

Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record

Adhere to assigned routes, utilizing routing program and lists

Operate vehicles as assigned (company vehicle or personal vehicle with mileage reimbursement), ensuring that vehicles are clean, organized and properly equipped

Maintain delivery records and promptly report any issues with deliveries, routes, or vehicles to supervisor

Communicate and cooperate with colleagues, members, and lay leaders as part of the operations team, including attending staff meetings as needed

Adhere to all JCC and departmental policies

Complete all additional duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements

Valid driver's license and clean driving record required. Must be able to consistently lift packages in excess of 50 pounds and move in and out of vehicles for deliveries throughout the day. The ideal candidate is highly responsible and reliable with the ability to independently manage their delivery routes within a given time frame. Must have keen attention to detail and strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
