We are seeking applications for one full-time tenure-track faculty position (8 month contract) starting Fall 2026. Applicants must hold a doctoral degree
* in nursing or a related field. The School of Nursing (SON) is one of five schools within the College of Health & Human Services. The SON offers BSN, 2nd Degree BSN, BSN Collaborative degree, online BSN completion, and multiple graduate education options, including graduate certificates, MSN tracks, and a DNP program. • Teach contractual load of undergraduate and graduate courses as assigned by the department or school.
• Assign and submit grades in accordance with established University schedules.
• Keep posted office hours during the week, which are scheduled at times most beneficial to students.
• Participate in activities related to program improvement and regulatory compliance.
• Provide academic advising to students, if applicable.
• Serve on search committees for hiring of new faculty members, departmental committees, and other service committees across the university.
• Participate in activities such as student registration, orientation, convocations and commencements.
• Attend and participate in scheduled departmental meetings and functions.
• Provide other support services to the department, college, and/or university, if applicable.
• Engage in pursuits that enable them to remain current in their respective disciplines.
• Engage in pursuits that help to further organize and contribute to the growth of the body of knowledge in their respective disciplines, and/or to explore interdisciplinary implications.
• Perform related Departmental duties as required.

• Prior teaching experience at the college or university level
• A planned or proven program of research
• Doctorate: DNP, PhD, EdD
• Practice experience across settings and populations
• * Will have confirmed Doctoral degree prior to Fall New Faculty Orientation (August 2026)
