Join our team at Huron Valley PACE as a Medical Assistant and make a meaningful impact every day! In this dynamic role, you’ll play a key part in delivering compassionate, high-quality care to our participants. You’ll provide hands‑on clinical support — assisting with exams, procedures, and patient care — while also keeping our clinic running smoothly through scheduling, record management, and daily coordination with our care team.

Working under the guidance of the Nurse Manager, you’ll use your clinical expertise and administrative skills to ensure each participant receives the best possible experience. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment and enjoys building relationships with patients while supporting a mission‑driven organization that helps older adults live well and age with independence.

• Partner with nurses, physicians, and other team members to ensure smooth clinic flow and participant care.
• Welcome participants, escort them to exam rooms, and assist with comfort and positioning during visits.
• Take and record vital signs accurately — including height, weight, oxygen saturation, and blood pressure.
• Assist with lab work, specimen collection, and routine ADL (Activities of Daily Living) care.
• Document care, observations, and procedures in participant records.
• Communicate changes in participant condition promptly to nursing and interdisciplinary team members.

• Keep the clinic organized and running efficiently by managing the daily schedule and coordinating appointments.
• Communicate with participants, families, and providers to ensure seamless care coordination.
• Confirm and reschedule appointments as needed while maintaining a friendly, professional approach.
• Prepare exam rooms, manage clinic supplies, and ensure equipment is clean and ready for use.
• Support administrative tasks such as answering phones, faxing, scanning, and maintaining documentation.

• Collect and maintain accurate participant data and assist with quality improvement (QI) initiatives.
• Support ongoing documentation needs and help track key clinical and operational metrics.

• Participate in daily huddles and interdisciplinary team meetings.
• Contribute ideas, share insights, and help create a positive, collaborative work environment.
• Support learning opportunities for staff and teammates.

• Occasionally assist in the Day Center or during participant home visits.
• Adhere to all Huron Valley PACE policies and uphold our mission to provide exceptional, person-centered care.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a medical office, clinic, or healthcare setting is preferred but not required — we’re happy to train the right candidate!
