Position Overview

We are seeking a talented and motivated Staff Software Engineer to join our team. You will design, develop, and maintain software solutions that meet modern industry standards. The ideal candidate is proficient in multiple programming languages, embraces agile development, and thrives in a collaborative environment. You will be responsible for writing clean, scalable code, troubleshooting technical issues, and optimizing system performance.

A strong understanding of cloud computing, APIs, and software architecture is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Managing the complete software development process from conception to deployment
• Maintaining and upgrading software after deployment
• Managing end-to-end life cycle for the production of software and applications
• Overseeing analysis, writing, building, and deployment of software
• Overseeing automated testing and providing feedback during development
• Modifying and testing changes to previously developed programs

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
• 8+ years of experience in object-oriented languages, with a focus on Python
• At least 1 year of JavaScript or Type Script experience
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Understanding of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Ability to write clean, efficient, well-documented, and testable code
• Experience developing unit, integration, and system tests
• Experience in microservices and RESTful APIs
• Experience in Agile/Scrum development environment
• Ability to work in office full-time
• Active TS/SCI U.S. Government Security Clearance with Fully Adjudicated CI Polygraph

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AWS or Azure and Kubernetes
• Experience with front-end development using React or Angular and JavaScript/Type Script
• Experience with Source Control tools (e.g., Git, Gitlab)
• Experience with Dev Sec Ops  and Agile Scrum, using tools like Git, Jira, and Confluence
• IAT Level II or III certification (e.g., Security+, CISSP, or CASP)
