The School of Information Security & Applied Computing (SISAC) within the Game Above College of Engineering and Technology at Eastern Michigan University invites applications for Part-Time Lecturer positions in Information Technology and Cybersecurity.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses that align with the SISAC curriculum goals and objectives; develop and maintain curriculum that supports the mission of the school, the university, and the broader community.
- Meeting with students during and outside of assigned classes, assessing student work and performance, preparing syllabi and course materials, providing copies of syllabi and course materials to supervisor on request, and assigning and submitting grades in accordance with established Eastern Michigan University schedules.
- Perform related departmental duties as required.
- Master’s degree in information security, Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field; or a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in Information Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Industry or teaching experience in IT/Cybersecurity.
- Effective communication skills and demonstrate a passion for teaching, with evidence of, or potential for, delivering high-quality instruction in Information Security, Information Technology, and Applied Computing disciplines.

This is a part-time position offering competitive compensation. The selected candidate will join the SISAC adjunct pool and may be called upon to teach on a semester-by-semester basis as needed. All applications must be submitted online. Application materials should include:
