The Packing Line 2nd Operator is responsible for set‑up, operation, and troubleshooting of the shrink‑wrap machine, insert equipment, and scanning station camera systems. The role works in conjunction with the Packing Line Operator to monitor product quality and ensure production targets are achieved.

• Primary role is to assist Packing Line Operator to ensure smooth operation of the line
• Must be able to perform all setup and troubleshoot all features of the automation line, including the book reorientation device, book breaker, transfer, bump and turn, packager, insert printer, film splicer, scanning station cameras, etc.
• Monitor the quality of the product that is being produced
• Perform routine preventive maintenance as required on the equipment
• Replace Packing Line Operator when they are away from their position
• Assist with other duties as assigned

Education

• High School Diploma or GED

• Strong working knowledge of computer applications
• Strong mechanical and analytical skills
• Ability to work well with numbers

• Good attendance a must
• Good communication skills
• Attention to detail essential
• Good working knowledge of lottery production
• Prior packaging experience a plus
