RN - ICU

The Registered Nurse (RN) maintains the delivery of quality care by assuring the nursing care plan is followed. The RN supervises Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and orientees while embracing the values of quality and safety in patient care.

• Perform nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessments.
• Participate in the patient rehabilitation program and provide direct patient care.
• Communicate changes in patient status to the care team to ensure continuity of care.
• Initiate discharge planning and patient education from the day of admission.
• Supervise and train ancillary nursing personnel.
• Maintain a safe work environment in compliance with hospital policies.

• BLS Certification required prior to first shift.
• ACLS required prior to first shift.
• Minimum of two (2) years bedside clinical experience is highly desired.
