Key Responsibilities- Our Commercial Truck Technicians keep the transportation industry rolling and safe! Qualified candidates will be safety minded and ready to help customers in their highest time of need.
- Maintain STO's standard of professionalism and customer service
- Determine truck/trailer condition by inspection, diagnostic testing, and identifying worn, damaged parts
- Perform preventive maintenance and repair work as necessary and keep up with vehicle inspection reports and maintenance records
- Ensure compliance with Federal and state vehicle repair requirements
- Other duties may be assigned as needed
- Competitive base wage starting at $30 hour
- Bonus opportunity with 70% Efficiency

- Consistently maintain 70% Efficiency rating in mechanics
- Certification from Diesel Mechanic School, or 3 years related experience
- Must possess own tools including hand tools, impact guns, and other pneumatic tools
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, physical environment, lift up to 50 pounds repetitively, twist, push/pull, bend, squat, climb, stand, and walk for extended periods of time
- Must have a valid Driver’s license, a clean driving record, and the ability to drive a commercial pickup truck including F250 or F350
- Monday‑Friday 8:30 am – 5:00 pm
- Overtime as needed
