Maintenance - Mechanic I
Position Summary:
This employee will maintain and repair fixed plant assets, to include, but not limited to CNC machinery, manual equipment, fixed assets within the manufacturing facility. This employee will coordinate with other employees to ensure that maintenance work is completed satisfactorily.
- Performs and/or assists in basic repairs and scheduled machine maintenance
- Assists in connecting power supply wires to machines and equipment.
- Assists in the handling of all cables and wires between machines and equipment
- Replaces faulty electrical components of equipment
- Assists in installation and repairs of electrical systems
- Assists in troubleshooting of electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems on CNC and manual machinery
- Maintains and uses all controlled documents within the department
- Assists in the maintenance and repair of all machinery and hand tools under direct supervision
- Adheres to PVV&E 5S standards
- Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of work crew.

Education
- Any combination of education, training and experience equivalent to graduation from High School, or that would provide required knowledge, skill and ability to successfully perform the assigned job duties.

- Proficient with MS Office tools

- Experience in a factory environment preferred

Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) - As required
Ability to use ladders safely/effectively
Ability to safely shovel snow using standard snow shovel
Work EnvironmentFactory environment with moderate to loud noise levels. May get dirty due to greasy dirty parts and exposure to dust. May have to work in tight spots when repairing machinery. Will be exposed to outdoor climate conditions subject to changing seasons.
Pay Range
$20 - $24/hour
This position is primarily based on site at the Yreka, California facility supporting the Company’s employees and the Busch Group USA team.
