Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our busy repair shop. As an Auto Mechanic, you will diagnose and repair vehicle issues, ensuring optimal performance and safety.

The ideal candidate has an in-depth understanding of vehicle systems, maintains shop equipment, prepares cost estimates, and fosters a welcoming environment.

Key qualities include strong communication skills, the ability to explain vehicle issues clearly, and providing logical repair recommendations.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair vehicles
• Perform safety inspections
• Conduct routine maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations, brake replacements)
• Inspect and repair all vehicle systems
• Create repair estimates and communicate with supervisors
• Order and manage parts
• Maintain accurate records
• Ensure customer satisfaction

Qualifications:

• High school diploma
• Automotive training or associate degree preferred
• ASE or SAE certification preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
