Business Development Liaison
Under direction, performs a variety of professional and technical duties in support of business and economic development efforts; assists with the processing of public and private development projects; acts as the central point of contact for development projects; facilitates communication between project applicants and City staff; ensures a coordinated and efficient movement of applications between departments; assists applicants in understanding the City’s requirements;
works as a liaison between City divisions, including Planning, Building, Engineering, Fire, Utilities, and others as needed from application submittal through permit plan check; facilitates communication and positive working relationships; and performs related duties as assigned.
The Development Services Department is seeking a motivated person with a strong communications background who build and enhance relationships in the business community to fill the vacancy within the department.

Business Development Liaison
Equivalent to a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
ExperienceAt least six (6) months of professional experience that includes providing support to developers and the business community with understanding and meeting City requirements.
Licenses and CertificationsPossession of a valid California Driver’s License and a satisfactory driving record to be maintained throughout employment.
