Seeking a friendly, organized and motivated front office Medical Assistant for a fast-paced Urgent Care. This position is temporary full-time for an estimated 3-6 months.
Hourly rate will be based on the level of experience.
Responsibilities and Duties- Greet patients warmly and kindly on the phone and in person, make them feel welcome.
- Efficiently check patients in and out.
- Verify insurance and collect co-payments.
- Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to read, understand, and follow oral and written instructions.
- Demonstrate compassion to patients.
- Ability to calm upset patients and resolve their issues.
- Perform other assigned duties or those within the front office scope.
- Experience preferred but not required.
Hourly Range: $18-$23
Qualifications- Medical Assistant Certificate (Required)
- CPR-BLS (Required)
- English (Required)
- Spanish (Preferred)
- High School Diploma or GED (required)
