Job DescriptionPosition Purpose: The Asset Protection Specialist is responsible for preventing financial loss caused by theft and fraud, supporting safety and environmental program compliance in their assigned store(s). They utilize tools to minimize loss, including identifying theft incidents, reviewing CCTV and exception reports, monitoring physical security, auditing Electronic Article Surveillance, and promoting a shrink elimination culture. Responsibilities also include preparing detailed case reports, preserving evidence, interacting with law enforcement, and testifying in court.
The specialist must report hazardous conditions, ensure safety, demonstrate integrity, and focus on store-specific business objectives while supporting asset protection and operational responsibilities.
