The Plater is responsible for efficiently, safely, and accurately processing parts through the plating process. This role requires strict adherence to training, safety protocols, and proper chemical handling procedures. The Plater must follow all PPR policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

General Duties

• Process parts through the plating line according to established procedures.

• Control scrap and reclaimed parts to minimize waste.

• Maintain lot integrity and ensure accurate product tracking.

• Meet daily and weekly production goals in line with the production schedule.

• Ensure all parts meet PPR quality standards for functionality and appearance.

• Report any departmental problems or production issues to the Supervisor.

• Maintain effective communication throughout the department.

• Oversee the safe operation and security of all equipment used.

• Follow all safety rules, regulations, and proper chemical handling procedures.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards.

• Prior plating or manufacturing experience preferred (training provided).

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
