Practitioner Roles and Responsibilities
- Assess patient health through interviews, examinations, and medical histories
- Document care services accurately
- Provide outpatient services by appointment
- Offer health maintenance, education, and disease prevention
- Perform well-women gynecological exams and screenings
- Educate patients on health and disease
- Stay current with immunization and health guidelines
- Order and interpret labs and x-rays
- Maintain CME and licensure
- Prescribe within formulary, maintain DEA and licensing
- Participate in community health activities
- Communicate with medical director about complex cases
- Collaborate effectively with team members
Qualifications
- Valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate license in Oklahoma
- Graduate from an accredited NP program
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Dedicated to high-quality care
- Proficient in EMR systems
- Committed to professional growth
