Heartstrings Pet Hospice & In-Home Euthanasia & Aftercare is a privately owned, rapidly growing practice focused on compassion, dignity, and respect. Position OverviewAs an Associate Veterinarian, you will deliver compassionate in‑home euthanasia, hospice, and palliative care. You will work independently in the field while receiving full support from our collaborative leadership team, Veterinary Care Specialists (VCS), and operational infrastructure. This role offers flexibility, autonomy, emotional fulfillment, and a low‑stress environment.

Experience in hospice, palliative care, or Fear Free certification is a plus but not required. Comprehensive training is provided.
Requirements- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or BVMS) from an accredited veterinary school
- Active (or ability to obtain) veterinary license in the state of practice
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Availability to work some weekends on a rotating schedule
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance
- Background check and motor vehicle record (MVR) check required post‑hire
