Here's how a(n) Commissioning Coordinator for our Solar USA office contributes to our team:
- Coordinates commissioning activities aligned with project scope as per the contract terms and conditions.
- Assists project team with coordination of Commissioning trades for compliance to drawings, specifications, quality, and schedule.
- Reviews RFIs and tracks RFI responses for timeliness.
- Prepares and tracks Commissioning submittal logs for shop drawings and coordination documents and reports progress to the project team.
- Assists the project team with all facets of project closeout, operation and maintenance manuals, spare part inventory, and deficiencies.
- Reviews the project specifications and identifies commissioning requirements.
- Coordinates examination, witnesses, monitors, and documents as per project commissioning and Inspection testing plans (ITPs).
- Reviews and collects commissioning turnover documentation.
- Acts as a liaison with craft personnel to broaden technical knowledge.
- Works with field management to ensure the commissioning of finished work.
- Stays current with industry practices and technologies and seeks new and innovative construction methods and processes.
- Develops and maintains strong customer-focused relationships with all stakeholders.
- Values and models the solution provider and profitability culture.
- Other duties as required.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.
- 0-2 years of experience with some co-op or relevant experience in solar construction is preferred.
- 1 year of experience in commissioning activities and/or the construction industry preferred.
