The Adolescent Health Program Manager manages youth mental health, bullying prevention, and teen pregnancy prevention programming within the Arizona Department of Health Services. Based in Phoenix on a hybrid schedule, the position oversees contracted programs, provides technical assistance, monitors budgets and compliance, and coordinates statewide initiatives and partnerships. The role requires frequent statewide travel and close collaboration with contractors and internal teams to ensure evidence-based program implementation.
Keyqualifications:
- Knowledge of youth mental health, teen pregnancy prevention, and positive youth development principles and current trends
- Experience managing program contracts, budgets, and sub-recipients with technical assistance capabilities
- Grant development, report writing, and performance management expertise
- Strong oral and written communication skills with ability to create presentations and manage websites
- Proficiency with Google and Microsoft Suites and data analysis
- Ability to travel in-state and out-of-state and work effectively in hybrid environments
