Powerlink has an immediate need for a skilled Dietary Cook with a solid work history to join our Food service Operations team. The role reports to the Culinary Manager and the Dietary Manager. Responsibilities include food preparation, production control, inventory control, kitchen safety, sanitation, equipment use, cleaning/sanitizing, food safety, recipe adherence, therapeutic diets, and prepared modified textured foods and liquids. The cook assists with ordering and receiving as necessary, maintains a clean and safe work area, and supports dietary aides.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a cook in long‑term care or other healthcare setting.
• Ability to speak, read and write English.
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays and flexible hours.
• Knowledge of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
• Background in safety and sanitation compliance.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to stand up to 10 hours a day.
• Must be local to Yuma, AZ and surrounding areas.

• Current Serv Safe® certification or Food Handler certification.
