Base: $29.95/hour ± $4.98 health & welfare;
Salary Range: $29.95 - $35.00

Qualifications:
  • Graduate of Navy PR “A” School, or equivalent Air Force or Army MOS courses.
  • Applicable training, qualifications, and certifications required to perform services as indicated in Naval Aviation Maintenance Program, COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790.2_ Series and Class V Ammunition and Explosive Material required for effectively maintaining and supporting ALSS. Qualification and certification shall be required for personnel performing Class V Ammunition and Explosive Material work in accordance with MCO 8023.3 Series.
  • Current and medically qualified per NAVMED P‑117 standards to maintain night vision systems.
  • Possess an extensive understanding of the USMC aviation activities with routine exposure to training.
  • Possess, or be able to attain, comprehensive knowledge of aircraft systems and capabilities across all United States service branches, U.S. allies, and other military or contracted aircraft inventories.
Responsibilities:
  • Supervise O‑Level maintenance tasks for CH‑53E/K, V‑22, UH‑1Y, AH‑1Z, C‑130J, F‑18C/D, AV‑8B, and F‑35B/C.
  • Perform troubleshooting, removal, installation, repair, inspection, and documentation of egress and escape systems, inflatable systems, emergency radio systems, survival items, personal equipment, pyrotechnics, CADS/PADS, aircrew breathing systems, and support equipment.
  • Accept and transfer egress and escape systems and related equipment.
  • Fit, manufacture, troubleshoot, remove, install, repair, inspect, and document flight clothing.
  • Handle stowage and safety precautions associated with pyrotechnics and related ordnance, as well as aircrew breathing systems.
  • Perform pre‑flight support to ensure aircrew equipment readiness for sorties and daily flight schedules.
  • Carry out pre/post‑op checks and operation of support equipment including conditional, scheduled inspections, and periodic maintenance.
  • Conduct corrosion control, prevention, and treatment per applicable directives; ensure inspection standards are met.
  • Maintain inventory of tools, manage hazardous materials/waste per Safety Data Sheet (SDS) and local directives.
  • Perform repairs, periodic maintenance, and calibration of all support equipment, IMRL, calibration‑required tools, and government‑furnished equipment at the appropriate level of support facilities.
  • Execute scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on flight equipment per squadron or maintenance control schedules; achieve established timeline goals for inspections.
  • Perform inspection, disassembly, repair, servicing, TD compliance, modification, assembly, surface finish removal, corrosion control, and preservation/de‑preservation services.
  • Follow government tool accountability and inventory procedures; report loss, damage, destruction, or theft (LDD&T) to the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) within five business days using DD Form 200‑Financial Liability Investigation of Property Loss.
  • Respond to emergent maintenance requirements within one hour during normal hours.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and other government websites efficiently.
  • Perform all tasks outlined in Maintenance Instruction Manuals (MIMs) or equivalent publications.
  • Maintain confidentiality via Non‑Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) as requested.
