Registered Nurse New Grad |Adult Acute Care | Main Hospital​/Nights

Overview

Registered Nurse New Grad-Adult Acute Care is a training/orientation position to develop the skills, knowledge, and critical reasoning to function as a competent registered nurse in an inpatient setting. The role provides safe care with supervision and guidance from experienced nurses, applying theoretical knowledge to clinical situations and performing basic skills within a plan of care. Practice is primarily guided by a Preceptor, referencing policies, procedures, and standards.

• Conducts patient assessment & coordination of direct patient care.
• Performs charting and documentation.
• Performs teaching to patient & family in preparation for discharge home.
• Provides communication to the healthcare team.
• Other duties as assigned.

Listed base hiring salary range:
