Shifts:
12‑hour shifts (7 AM – 7 PM) with on‑call responsibilities. Work schedule is regular, full‑time, 72 hours every two weeks. Compensation: hourly, $39.93 – $63.89 per hour as base salary (actual salaries may vary).
The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Cath Lab is accountable for the coordination of nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education, and transitions of care.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing direct nursing care and supporting professional nursing practice across the continuum of care.
- Planning, implementing, evaluating and communicating all phases of nursing care for assigned patients within the Yuma Regional Medical Centers Clinic Nursing Professional Practice Model.
- Leading through preceptor and leadership roles and quality improvement efforts.
- Delegating patient care according to skill level, experience, patient acuity, fiscal accountability and resources.
- Delivering personalized service and fostering a safe, respectful environment through five safe behaviors.
- Collecting and analyzing assessment data to determine diagnosis and prioritize interventions.
- Developing individualized care plans and implementing them with the patient, family and interdisciplinary team.
- Communicating relevant information through hand‑offs across levels of care.
- Teaching and health promotion, using evidence‑based practices, and evaluating outcomes.
- Serving as a patient advocate and ensuring ethical, professional care.
- Engaging in evidence‑based research activities and sharing findings with the team.
- 1+ year related experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Associate’s degree.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
- Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Stroke Certification (NIHSS).
- 12‑hour shifts: 7 AM – 7 PM with on‑call duties.
