Job Details

Shifts:

12‑hour shifts (7 AM – 7 PM) with on‑call responsibilities. Work schedule is regular, full‑time, 72 hours every two weeks. Compensation: hourly, $39.93 – $63.89 per hour as base salary (actual salaries may vary).

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Cath Lab is accountable for the coordination of nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education, and transitions of care.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing direct nursing care and supporting professional nursing practice across the continuum of care.
  • Planning, implementing, evaluating and communicating all phases of nursing care for assigned patients within the Yuma Regional Medical Centers Clinic Nursing Professional Practice Model.
  • Leading through preceptor and leadership roles and quality improvement efforts.
  • Delegating patient care according to skill level, experience, patient acuity, fiscal accountability and resources.
  • Delivering personalized service and fostering a safe, respectful environment through five safe behaviors.
  • Collecting and analyzing assessment data to determine diagnosis and prioritize interventions.
  • Developing individualized care plans and implementing them with the patient, family and interdisciplinary team.
  • Communicating relevant information through hand‑offs across levels of care.
  • Teaching and health promotion, using evidence‑based practices, and evaluating outcomes.
  • Serving as a patient advocate and ensuring ethical, professional care.
  • Engaging in evidence‑based research activities and sharing findings with the team.
Required Qualifications
  • 1+ year related experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • Associate’s degree.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS).
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Stroke Certification (NIHSS).
Schedule
  • 12‑hour shifts: 7 AM – 7 PM with on‑call duties.
