The infection preventionist will perform daily rounding across acute units and ambulatory settings, monitor hand hygiene, and participate in surveillance and council meetings. Strong critical thinking and communication skills are essential.
Requirements include an active RN license, minimum 2 years in infection prevention in an acute hospital. BLS is required; CIC certification is preferred.
