• Tree work:
  All tree (Date Palms/Olive Trees, and Citrus Trees) work, pruning and hoeing with pruning shears, pruning loppers and long-handled hoes; work from the ground or on a basket/platform raised by a forklift or reach lift up to about 55 feet
• Harvesting:
  Identifying fruit by color and texture and picking accordingly; placing fruit into trays then moving to field trailers or pallets; removing bags and tying/bagging as needed; closing bag prior to harvest with twine or Velcro
• Groundwork:
  Planting Date Palms, Olive Trees, and Citrus Trees (up to 50 lbs from pots into holes); cutting shoots on Date Palms; weed removal; soil preparation and digging
• Irrigation:
  Check/repair drip lines, ensuring that every (Date Palms, Olive Trees, & Citrus Trees) has water, pulling occasional weeds, checking pumps, and completing checklists; assisting with maintaining irrigation systems
• Agricultural Equipment Operators / Forklift Operators: move platforms/reach and harvest trailers to facilitate tree work or harvest; prepare equipment for field operations; operate tractors/forklifts safely; perform daily maintenance checks; safety training provided by certified safety team
• General: clean up field before/during/after harvest, picking up trash, discarding cartons, and assisting as safety monitor when equipment is turning in the field; other duties as directed by foreman and supervisor

• Required to have basic knowledge of driving a tractor/forklift; must pass tractor/forklift training and demonstrate ability to operate tractor/forklift in a safe manner. Training will be provided by a certified safety team.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., work on uneven ground, work in/on a basket/platform in a tree, dexterity to use knives and scissor-like pruners all day, tying different kinds of strings/ropes with different knots
• Good eyesight for plant identification and ability to see what to harvest and where to make cuts; good personal hygiene
• All work performed under the direction of the foreman and supervisor to ensure quality of the work
