- Provide compassionate caregiving: regular walks, playtime, affection.
- Observe behavior for health concerns and report promptly to the veterinary team.
- Maintain an immaculate environment: clean kennels, odor‑free spaces.
- Handle animals safely during daily
Jvm care, medication administration, and movement around the facility. - Maintain accurate records of feeding schedules, behaviors, and care provided.
- Full‑time and weekend availability.
- Genuine passion for animal welfare and pet care.
- Ability to handle animals safely and confidently, even when anxious.
- Deze physical stamina for walking dogs, cleaning kennels, and lifting supplies.
- Excellent attention to detail in following care instructions and observing animal behavior.
- Strong cleaning skills with a commitment to maintaining sanitary conditions.
- Good communication skills for interacting with team members and occasionally with pet owners.
- Patience and compassion when working with animals that may be stressed or ill.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and prioritize tasks.
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent required.
- At least 1+ years of animal care experience required.
- Willingness to learn proper animal handling and care techniques.
- Competitive Pay: $15.00–$17.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
