Data Management Consultant; DAMA-DMBOK – Albert Heijn Nederland

As Data management consultant at Albert Heijn you will ensure the proper data life cycle on our data platform and connect stakeholders on topics like data quality, data exchange, data definitions and access. You will act as a sparring partner for application development teams and shape data governance across the organization.

• Make sure data is treated as a product.
• Ensure the quality of defined datasets is implemented and maintained.
• Operationalise data policies and standards.
• Provide insights to data owners regarding the general goals of their data.
• Have substantive knowledge of data objects and related business processes.
• Ensure proper training of employees and promote data‑management best practices.

• 3–5 years of experience as a Data Steward, Data Quality Officer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of current data‑management standards and practices.
• Experience with data‑governance transitions is a bonus.
• Enjoy teamwork and actively drive initiatives to completion.
• Strong analytical skills, precision, pro‑active mindset and passion for data and technology.

• Annual salary up to €75 000 including holiday allowance and a flexible bonus, depending on experience.
