About the Role
We are looking for a driven and analytical Logistics Sourcing Specialist (EMEA) to join our team. In this role, you will support the development of a resilient, high-quality, and cost-effective supplier network for outsourced logistics services across our refinery operations.
You will play a key role in sourcing logistics capacity, optimizing freight solutions, and driving continuous improvement and innovation across our logistics activities—directly supporting our business strategy.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead logistics sourcing activities across refineries in EMEA;
- Manage freight inquiries, award decisions within existing frameworks, and administration in SAP;
- Act as a trusted partner to Commercial teams, delivering fast and competitive freight solutions;
- Monitor supplier performance (e.g., OTIF), facilitate supplier reviews, and handle escalations;
- Support contract ownership for outsourced logistics services;
- Deliver data-driven insights and market intelligence to support decision-making;
- Contribute to supplier development and continuous improvement initiatives;
- Drive innovation and efficiency in logistics operations.
What You Bring to the role
Experience & Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field;
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in logistics or supply chain roles;
- Experience in sourcing logistics services (bulk liquids and palletized goods preferred);
- Strong commercial mindset and entrepreneurial drive;
- Dutch and English language fluency;
- Solid knowledge of air, ocean, road, and inland waterway transport;
- Strong analytical and data-driven mindset;
- Highly structured, disciplined, and detail-oriented;
- Proficiency in SAP, Excel (advanced), and Power BI;
- Willingness to travel regularly across the EMEA region for supplier and customer visits (occasionally).
