The Member Experience Representative is responsible for greeting all members when they enter the branch and assisting them with their financial needs. This is a front‑line role responsible for delivering outstanding service and support to members through various channels, including in‑person, by phone, and through text and digital messaging. This position performs a variety of financial transactions and supports both lobby and teller operations.
Our ideal candidate has a positive, can‑do attitude, and is a problem‑solver with strong cash‑handling and member service skills. Additionally, the candidate should be comfortable in a sales environment and be able to meet monthly sales goals.
- Serving as a member experience concierge for members entering the branch and coordinating lobby flow.
- Performing routine member transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, cash advances, loan payments, transfers, and check cashing.
- Assisting members in the opening and closing of accounts.
- Balancing the teller drawer at the end of the day.
- Supporting ITM (Interactive Teller Machine) operations and serving as a knowledgeable resource.
- Promoting and cross‑selling Pelican products and services to members to fit their financial needs.
- Performing other job‑related duties as assigned.
- Minimum of 1 year of continuous job experience.
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent oral, written, and telephone communication skills.
- Strong problem‑solving and member service skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Monday – Friday
- 8:30 am – 5:30 pm
- Travel is not necessary for this position.
