This facility is seeking locum physician coverage due to a program startup. The current staffing model includes both MDs and APCs. Coverage is needed for both day and night shifts weekdays and weekends from 7 AM to 7 PM and 7 PM to 7 AM. Initially, the locum provider will cover approximately 10 shifts per month for the first few months, with the potential to adjust as core staff are hired.

The EMR system used is EPIC.

This facility in Zachary, LA sees an annual emergency department volume of 25,000 with 21 ED beds and 75 total hospital beds, averaging about 2 patients per hour. It is not a designated trauma center, and higher-acuity cases are transferred within the larger health system.
