Member Experience Representative: Lafayette, Baton Rouge, Zachary, or Covington

Overview

The Member Experience Representative is responsible for greeting all members when they enter the branch and assisting them with their financial needs. This front-line role delivers outstanding service and support to members through in-person interactions, by phone, and through text and digital messaging. The position performs a variety of financial transactions and supports both lobby and teller operations. The ideal candidate is positive, has strong cash-handling and member service skills, and is comfortable in a sales environment with the ability to meet monthly sales goals.

• Serve as a member experience concierge for members entering the branch and coordinate lobby flow.
• Perform routine member transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, cash advances, loan payments, transfers, and check cashing.
• Assist members in the opening and closing of accounts.
• Balance the teller drawer at the end of the day.
• Support ITM (Interactive Teller Machine) operations and serve as a knowledgeable resource.
• Promote and cross-sell Pelican products and services to fit members' financial needs.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

• Minimum of 1 year of continuous job experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent oral, written, and telephone communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and member service skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm
• Travel: Travel is not necessary for this position.
