Delivery Specialist – O'Reilly Auto Parts

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers safely and efficiently.
• Use delivery fleet management handheld devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update vehicle mileage, and complete daily vehicle inspections.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform daily inspections before operating.
• Keep delivery vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet credit cards, handheld devices, and collected monies secure.
• Pick up customer returns (new, warranty, cores, etc.) and fill out driver return slip.
• Communicate customer issues or special needs to store management.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or damage immediately to store manager.
• Ensure fuel tank is filled and lock and secure vehicle at end of day.
• Clock in/out per company policy.
• Perform additional duties as assigned, including customer service, sweeping, general stocking, merchandising, running errands, handling core returns, checking in and putting up stock orders.
• Occasionally assist customers, serve as cashier, or help with merchandising tasks (e.g., phones, sales, and service) when business dictates.

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record meets the company’s 14/18‑point system.
• Legally required state driver’s license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements.

• Familiarity with automotive parts.
• Ability to operate other light store equipment.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
