Responsibilities Make an impact as a Maintenance Planner, you play a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly. You ensure that maintenance activities are organized, planned, and executed efficiently, helping us reduce downtime, improve performance, and create a reliable daily working environment. You’ll collaborate closely with technicians, operations teams, and suppliers, becoming the central point that keeps everything connected. You will spend about 40–60% of your time visiting customer sites in the Netherlands, ensuring strong collaboration and supporting maintenance planning directly where it matters most.
Develop, maintain, and optimize preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.
Review inspection results and incidents to update maintenance and cleaning plans, proposing improvements where needed.
Plan and prioritize work orders in line with production requirements and operational priorities.
Coordinate team shifts together with the local team leader.
Manage spare parts inventory, ensuring availability of critical components while avoiding excess stock.
Identify supply chain risks and adjust stocking strategies, including annual reviews of the VMI spare parts scope.
Forecast spare parts usage and budget requirements throughout the contract period.
Maintain accurate data and work order status in the CMMS, and analyze historical performance to improve planning accuracy.
Collaborate closely with technicians, operations teams, internal and external suppliers to enable smooth execution of planned tasks.
Support continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards.
Application Requirements What you need to succeed
You hold a Bachelor’s degree or vocational qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
At least 2 years of experience in maintenance planning or coordination within an industrial or automated environment.
Experience with CMMS and spare parts management systems.
Strong organizational and planning skills with a structured approach to prioritizing tasks.
Knowledgeable of maintenance strategies and spare parts logistics.
Communicate effortlessly in Dutch and English, both verbally and in writing.
