Accountant, Accounting Manager

We are seeking a full-time, on-site Accountant to support upper management by producing key financial reports, managing fixed assets, preparing tax filings, and reconciling general ledger accounts. This role also plays a key part in inventory management, audits, and budgeting, and will supervise up to five team members.

• Manage and reconcile fixed asset inventory and spending
• Perform monthly account reconciliations, including intercompany accounts
• Support bi-monthly pipe inventory reconciliations
• Assist with audits and budgeting processes
• Prepare month-end journal entries
• Prepare and file sales, use, and 1099 tax returns
• Act as a backup for other accounting roles
• Maintain clear communication with supervisors and promote a positive work environment
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards

• Hire, train, and supervise departmental staff
• Provide guidance and performance evaluations to team members
• Support onboarding and training of new company hires

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
• OR Associate’s degree with 10+ years of relevant experience
• OR equivalent education and experience combination
• Skills: Strong knowledge of accounting principles
• Proficient in Microsoft Windows and general computer literacy
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
• This is a full-time, on-site role (minimum 40 hours per week).
