Adult Education - Part-Time Power Line Technologies Instructor
Candidates must have five years of related industry experience. Must pass a criminal background check, and otherwise be eligible to obtain proper licensure through the Ohio Department of Education. Candidates holding current certifications in AEP, OSHA, Commercial Driver License, Forklift/Manlift and/or Journeyman Status will receive priority consideration.
Responsibilities:
The Power Lineman Technologies Instructor is responsible for providing quality classroom and lab instruction in various lineman courses with a focus on safe operation to a diverse adult student population. Instructors assist in constructing certification programs and updating curriculum, and in outreach to support the placement of students in related employment. Instructors must engage in outreach with program advisory committees and also report accurate records in a timely manner, as required by district policies and accrediting organizations.
