Lead Preschool Teacher

Viola & Virsies Learning in Zanesville, OH is looking for a passionate and nurturing Lead Preschool Teacher to join their team! • Plan and implement age-appropriate, developmentally focused lesson plans for preschool-aged children
• Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages learning through play
• Observe and assess children's developmental progress and maintain accurate records
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student growth and daily activities
• Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and classroom aides
• Ensure classroom compliance with state childcare licensing regulations and health and safety standards
• Foster social-emotional development through positive guidance and relationship-building

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred
• Previous experience in a lead preschool or early childhood classroom setting
• Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices
• Current or ability to obtain Ohio childcare certifications (e.g., CPR, First Aid)
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic demeanor with young children
• Ability to collaborate effectively with staff, families, and administration
