Position OverviewAs an STNA at The Oaks
, you will play a key role in providing direct care to our residents, assisting with activities of daily living, and supporting the overall comfort and health of each individual. You will work closely with Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to ensure that our residents receive the highest level of care.

- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
- Help with mobility, positioning, and transfers, ensuring resident safety.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure, and report any changes to nursing staff.
- Provide comfort and companionship to residents, fostering a positive and supportive environment.
- Assist with feeding and ensure proper nutrition for residents.
- Document all care provided and ensure accurate records are maintained in compliance with facility standards.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for residents.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and safety procedures.
- Assist nursing staff with patient care and other duties as needed.
- Current State Tested Nurse Aide (STNA) certification in the state of Ohio.
- Previous experience in a skilled nursing or long‑term care setting is preferred, but not required.
- Compassionate, patient‑centered approach to care.
- Ability to work effectively with residents, families, and the healthcare team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic health records (EHR).
