IHBT Therapist (LSW, LPC);
Muskingum County
Join the National Youth Advocate Program (NYAP) as an IHBT Therapist (LSW, LPC) in Muskingum County. This community-based therapist role focuses on intensive home-based treatment for youth and families.
CompensationSalary: $70,000.00
Sign‑on bonus: $5,000
Territory:
Licking and Muskingum County

- Provide individual, group, and family mental health therapy, case management, transportation, and other professional services to clients served.
- Manage a small caseload, traveling daily to provide in‑home services to youth and families in compliance with organizational, contract, and regulatory requirements.
- Meet with each client 2–3 times per week.
- Coordinate and monitor services for the youth and family in community mental health, medical, educational, psychological, vocational, and social services.
- Regularly review and modify youth‑based plans to assure consistent progress and success on written plan goals.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with assigned foster parents and families of origin.
- Assist in family reunification and/or stabilization efforts with the youth’s primary family or other permanent living arrangement consistent with the youth’s case plan.
- Provide safety assessment, crisis response, and behavioral stabilization services as required to assure safety and stability for youth served.
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or comparable Human Services field.
- LSW or LPC required.
- Experience providing both individual and family therapy.
- Experience working in direct service with youth and families strongly preferred.
- Experience with TF‑CBT preferred.
- Daily travel required; willingness to meet clients on a flexible schedule or during non‑traditional hours if needed.
- Comfortable providing services in the community and in client homes.
- On‑call duties.
- Productivity: 40% required.
- Proficient use of desktop/laptop computers, smartphones, tablets, printers, fax machines, and photocopiers; proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs.
- Willingness to accept other job duties as assigned.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Reliable personal transportation.
- Good driving record.
- Minimum automobile insurance coverage of $100,000/$300,000 bodily injury liability.
