• Shift: Days, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Weekends: Typically every 3rd weekend (subject to change based on census and staffing)
• Holidays: One holiday coverage expected (subject to change)
• On-Call: No regular call required; may be asked to take a rare call day during fluctuating census or staffing needs

Experience Requirements

• Minimum Experience: 3 years of Cardiac Step-Down experience
• Required Experience Includes:
  • Heart cath recovery
  • Cardiac drips
  • Post-op open heart patients
  • Cardiac and Med-Surg step-down patients

Floating

• May be required to float to other units during low volumes or coverage needs (not expected routinely)

Certifications Required

• BLS
• ACLS

System & Skill Requirements

• EMR: Epic (required)
• Clinical Experience Required: Open-heart patients, ventilators
