Position Summary

The Operations and Planning Manager will oversee strategic planning and execution on key activities within the partnership between Agilon Health and primary care physician practices. They will provide effective leadership and participate in implementing business strategies and initiatives to align priorities and achieve company and business goals.

Responsibilities
  • Function in a highly matrixed, fast-paced and team-based environment.
  • Support the infrastructure of the partnership with an ongoing focus on organizational effectiveness and integration between Agilon Health and physician partners.
  • Develop processes and lead initiatives to improve quality of care, efficiency, and growth in the market.
  • Drive initiatives with provider partners, payers, and the enterprise as part of the market leadership team.
  • Support the development of innovative care models to create a world-class patient experience with world-class quality of care in collaboration with clinical leadership.
  • Prioritize, develop metrics/tracking, and track ROI for new and ongoing projects.
  • Leverage technology to drive process improvement, operational efficiency, and improved clinical results.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to define and support the Agilon culture within the market and across the company.
  • Establish performance objectives, track performance, and evaluate progress toward unit and organizational goals.
Required Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience leading projects or driving initiatives.
  • A demonstrated track record of innovative thinking across the continuum of patient care.
  • Independent thinker who can manage ambiguity and devise solutions when a clear path does not exist, while functioning effectively within team-based environments.
  • Proven skills in developing, implementing, and executing project plans and integrating complex operations.
  • Excellent communicator in both written and oral form, able to create clear board-ready presentations and communications.
  • Energetic about driving results through superb process capabilities.
  • Higher standards of accountability, ability to drive change while maintaining operating effectiveness, and integrate efforts across physician practices, corporate functions, and business units.
  • Bachelor’s degree required;
    Master’s degree preferred.
