We are a Heavy Industry Metals Manufacturer located in Southeast Ohio seeking a dynamic and experienced Metallurgist to join our thriving Manufacturing team.

Job DetailsAs a Metallurgist, you will play a pivotal role in contributing to the development, production, and improvement of our metal products. This is an exciting opportunity to apply your skills in a fast‑paced, innovative, and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities- Conduct detailed analysis and examination of all types of metals and alloys to determine their physical and chemical properties.
- Develop and modify metallurgical processes and procedures to optimize production.
- Collaborate with the design and manufacturing teams to ensure the feasibility and manufacturability of new product designs.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the manufacturing team related to metallurgical issues.
- Investigate and resolve production issues related to metal properties and performance.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure consistency and adherence to standards.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of materials during production and post‑production to ensure quality and durability.
- Stay up‑to‑date with the latest advancements in metallurgy and incorporate new methods and technologies into our processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy, Materials Science, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a metallurgical role.
- Strong understanding of metallurgical principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in using metallurgical lab equipment and conducting material tests.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex metallurgical issues.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex technical information to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of metallurgy.
