JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

• Must possess math skills for counting, addition, subtraction, and multiplication
• Must have excellent attendance and work records
• Must be able to stand for long periods
• Must possess the ability to read schedules, product information, and technical language
• Manufacturing experience a plus
• High school education preferred
• Willingness to work overtime when necessary or required

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Plant, Exposure to excessive heat, noise

WORK PACE: Fast-Must maintain pace with the lines; consistent pace is necessary

ESSENTIAL TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Counting and packaging finished products (including quantity)
• Detecting quality defects
• Preventing contamination of material
• Housekeeping in work area, including equipment
• Peeling and grinding plastic
• Following instructions of lead person and help other line operators
• Communicating any maintenance/equipment problems observed
• Follow safety policies
• Complete all projects and duties as assigned
• Firing up sheet lines
• Clean grinders that are under lock-out/tag-out
• Utilize idle time wisely i.e., clean, inquire, assist others
• Understand how your job impacts the ISO-9000 policy
