Travel Registered Nurse Med Surg

Registered Nurse – Med Surg, traveling assignment in Zanesville, Ohio. Start date October 19, 2026 for a 13-week assignment with 36 guaranteed hours per week. Night shift on a 3x12 schedule (7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.). Assignment focuses on the Respiratory unit with potential float to other Med-Surg areas. This is a travel temporary assignment in a clinical care setting.

• Weekly pay: 1,882–1,964 per week
• Guaranteed hours: 36 per week

• Shift: Nights (7:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m.), every other weekend required

• Assignment setting:
  Respiratory/Med-Surg care, with occasional float to other units

• Deliver direct patient care on the Respiratory unit and in Med-Surg areas as assigned
• Administer medications, monitor vitals, provide oxygen therapy, and interpret telemetry
• Document accurately in Epic EMR and maintain competency in charting and telemetry interpretation
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to implement and adjust care plans
• Monitor patient status, recognize changes, and elevate per protocol or supervisor guidance
• Float to other Med-Surg units as needed while maintaining quality and safety standards
• Uphold infection control practices and patient safety, including privacy and comfort needs

• Active Ohio RN license
• BLS certification
• Epic EMR proficiency (refresher courses or one‑on‑one sit‑time are not acceptable options)
• Minimum 3 years of current/recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown experience; must be able to read Telemetry and will be tested on day one
• Night shift availability: 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.; every other weekend required; no call required
• Ability to work in a respiratory care environment with appropriate PPE and infection control measures
