American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Observation unit day shift position requiring Telemetry reading proficiency and current Epic EMR experience.

• Primary placement on the 1S Observation unit with required floating to other Med-Surg units (Respiratory, Stroke, Cardiac, etc.) and possibly the ED if appropriately skilled
• Day shift schedule (7a-7:30p) with every other weekend required
• 36 hours per week
• On-call responsibilities are rare

• Active OH or compact RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Minimum 3 years of current/recent Telemetry/Med-Surg experience required
• Must be able to read Telemetry/BCRA and will be tested on this competency on day one
• Current Epic EMR proficiency required; refresher classes or 1:1 training are not acceptable alternatives

• Will be immediately terminated if unable to pass the Telemetry/BCRA competency test or found not proficient in Epic
• Start date is fixed unless the candidate is a returning Genesis traveler within the past 9 months
